Rare Dwarf Spring Grove Male Ginkgo Tree

'Spring Grove' is a unique upright and compact dwarf that will reach 6 ft in height by 4 ft in width in 15 years. The leaves on 'Spring Grove' are a bright chartreuse that cup slightly upward. Along with its dwarf pyramidal shape and its shocking bright yellow fall color, this male-clone makes a statement in most nearly any garden. 'Spring Grove' was found as a witches' broom mutation off a male ginkgo at Spring Grove Cemetery in Ohio.

Ginkgo biloba 'Spring Grove' arrived in record time perfectly packed along with a Rhododendron yakusimanum. It came very well budded but was not yet fully grown into its container, so the root ball collapsed when it was removed from the pot. Still I am expecting it to be fine. I have a small urban garden, and dwarf selections like this one really make an interesting yard possible, and I am grateful to Mr. Maple for carrying them.

Excellent Condition!

Ordered these for my wife and I was a little skeptical in the condition they would arrive in, however, when they showed up they were in excellent healthy condition. Wife was very happy with them!
